Stümpfe für Präparationen nach Dr. R. V. Tucker

Die Präparationen von Dr. Richard V. Tucker wurden in Set-Form reproduziert. Jedes Set besteht aus 14 Stümpfen - drei Eckzähnen, fünf Prämolaren und sechs Molaren. Diese werden in Dr. Tucker's zweitem Videoband ("Variations in Cavity Design") erwähnt.

Das Set besteht aus folgenden Stumpf-Reproduktionen:

Das Stumpfset ist eine Polyurethan-Reproduktion von Dr. Tucker's Präparationen an Kunststoffzähnen. Es ist nicht zu empfehlen, die Stümpfe als Aufwachs- oder Ausarbeitungsmodell zu verwenden, da das Polyurethan hierfür zu weich ist. Wenn das Material der Sonne ausgesetzt ist, verfärbt es sich mit der Zeit gelblich, da das Harz keinen UV-Blocker enthält. Diese Verfärbung hat keine Auswirkungen auf die Eigenschaften der Stümpfe. Falls ein Stumpf verschmutzt ist, kann er mit einem milden Spülmittel und Wasser gereinigt werden. Die Stümpfe sollten nicht mit Lösungsmittel in Berührung kommen.

Dr. Richard V. Tucker has been president of the Washington State Dental Association, Academy of Operative Dentistry and Academy of Gold Foil Operators. He is a member of the Academy of Restorative Dentistry and is a fellow in the American College of Dentists. He recently was awarded the Medal of Excellence from the Academy of Operative Dentistry and the Biaggi Medal for his contribution to dental education in Italy.

Dr. Tucker conducts a private dental practice in Ferndale, Washington. For more than forty years he has studied to perfect and innovate gold casting procedures.
